There's already a Youtube thread for stuff like this. Starting a new thread, dedicated to your video it sets expectations rather high because it comes across as a bit "This is sooo good I don't want it to be lost in the Youtube thread" so don't be surprised if people are disappointed.
Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with posting a video in the OP of a thread but it has to be able generate debate or discussion and not just be akin to a Facebook status which this is.
