Anyone Notice This Creep In? 4Gb 7850

must be specifically for tri or quadfire. the step up alternative actually not being 3gb 7950s but very expensive 6gb 7970s since there are no 6gb 7950s. still... that price...

edit: something very specific, like... someone wants 3x7970 power but without paying loads for 3 7970s with 6gb of ram, since the power of the 7970 is such that each card should really have ~1.5gb ram per pysical card. the 7850s should have somewhere in the region of ~1.25gb per card, so someone might get 4x7850 4gb... to be a cheaper version of 7970x3...??? meh. it's really niche anyway because of the price

quadfire is the only possible place in which this new card could be useful, being better value possibly than three 6gb 7970s, and trifire being worse than two 7950s in terms of value. but then i -just- realised 7850s only have a single crossfire connector... so... yeah. (pointless card :()
