*** Official NBA 2012/2013 season ***

Oh at the minute I completely agree, hands down MJ.

I'm more coming from the pov that if Bron can keep doing what he's doing now then there will be a debate to be had.

For sure and he will 100% be spoken about as one of the greatest, and I think his best is yet to come which is pretty scary to think about for non Heat fans.

Aye. He gets better year after year. He's always had the skill base but now the maturity, shot selection and knowledge are equalling it.

Really looking forward to Thunder/Heat soon :D

I don't think so, TNT have the Dunk and 3 point contest I think, and I think the Celebrity game will be on ESPN, in the USA so I'm sure there will be a way to watch it online. It's been pretty hard to find a way to watch all the events for years now. I wish they made it a bit easier.

What do you think of the new GSW alternate kit?

It looks a little strange but Americans don't like it when things get changed too much, they still think sponsors on the front of shirts is insane.

Hmm guess I'll have to watch that by other means then!

I really like it to be honest. A lot of college guys wear t-shirts under their jersey, I presume not so much in the NBA because they probably have some mental dress code rules.

Weird seeing a tight basketball top, prefer the baggy look personally.

Azza I think it's in the rules about no under tops as Howard needed special dispensation to wear one that have shoulder support.

TBH most rules apply to certain clubs only, ie RIP is the only bulls guy allowed to ware a head band and in the playoffs every bull has to wear black shoes

Only watched the first half wasn't particularly great. Few players really didn't seem bothered. Looking forward to tonights events though, hopefully the slam dunk has the potential to be brilliant.

LeBron will never have a slam dunk title though... :p :D

He has a point though but the problem I think with comparing LeBron or Kobe or any one to MJ is that he changed things drastically, the style of play, athleticism, technique and skill. It's hard to do that at the moment because the NBA is different partly down to MJ, and then there is what he did in the playoffs, coming back, the legends that have built around him and what he achieved. It's been 20 years since he won the first three and still today everyone says be 'like Mike' and I just don't see in another 20 years people saying be like Kobe or LeBron it'll still be about MJ. Even if LeBron gets more rings or Kobe gets another 1 or they have better stats in 'x' / 'y'... until some one comes along and changes everything like he did then it's just not really worth talking about.
