How freakin' annoying!

When I saw that this was listed as 'today only' I mistakenly assumed it would be on all day. I come back with my credit card in hand & the price has gone back up.

Offering great deals is awesome customer service, but please make it clear when stocks are limited otherwise you'll end up possibly frustrating a lot of people.

I believe it says how many are in stock in real time, so when you see that there are 20 you can tell that it won't be around for a whole day.

That's a good point, however, any quantities over 10 are simply shown as 10+. Regardless of that, these items have not gone out of stock, they have reverted back to the original price having sold through whatever quota Valkia had in mind & as such I don't think the stock counter would have reflected the amount of discounted stock available (although I could be wrong).

The TODAY ONLY works on the basis that we allocate an amount of stock at the promotional price.

For example we might have 500pc of the memory kit in stock, but for the promotion we only set 20pc available at special price, so the TODAY ONLY will show 20 left and it will count down until the promo stock is sold out. Of course the product will still show 10+ at original price as we have more than 10 in stock.

TODAY ONLY are ONE DAY ONLY and are a very limited amount of stock, so the really good deals can sell out in less than 24hrs at the promotional price.
 
I have a general question.

How come GEIL RAM is so cheap? Even before it was much cheaper than other brands but I'm not entirely sure why? :S Is it less reliable, or slower, than other brands? When I built my computer almost a year ago I was considering the RAM but was put off by the "lower" price (by a considerable amount) in comparison to manufacturers and paranoia set in thinking that something would be wrong with it. So I got another brand :(

I wouldnt mind grabbing some for other builds, but is it 'OK'?

Edit: Nevermind, I'm talking rubbish. I think either my memorys going or prices have changed considerably the past few months :P

I think you need to look on the homepage to see the number of stock at the reduced price.
 
My memory arrived this morning, which was much faster than I expected from RM and I got 2 packets of Tangfastics. Cheers OCuk :D
