Can Someone help me look for this game?

I cant remember much, but it was on the original xbox, and all i remember was i was on a boat and this stupid helicopter kept on trying to drop bombs, while i tried to escape, If i came into contact with a bomb would send my boat sideways and lose control.

And the second bit i remember was, me getting instructions from a old man, and these creatures with things on there head, and the houses were on fire i think, oh and I remember a women and a robot helping me.

I rented this game from blockbusters and I fell in love with it but got stuck on that bit with the man given me instructions on how to get out, This game was filled with stupid hard puzzles (I enjoyed them but never got to complete the game because of it) I think i was on rooftops and it was night.

Im hoping i can get it on the PC and play it, help me forum :)
 
Half Life? Never even played the first one. Iv herd about it but never payed attention to it, So guess ima have to download it? is it any good and is it worth the 15 quid,

what is Episode 1 and 2? why didnt they just make half life 3? thats stupid now i gotta spend a fiver each on those episodes
 
Hey, can anybody help me find this really obscure game? It's got two lines that bat a ball across the screen back and forth. The graphics aren't very good though.
 
It's nothing like black ops. Not even close. IMO the best game ever made, definitely worth £15, hell it's worth £30.

Episode one/two are just expansions.

So whats all the hubba bubba surrounding these half life games?

Come to think of it I remember half life on the PS2, If its so popular how come activision havent made half life 3?
 
Just buy the orange box containing: HL2, ep1, ep2, and portal all in one lovely package (used to have TF2 too but that's now free to play anyway)

Yeh I had the original on the PS2!! Did the whole campaign with just me and my cousin, SO hard the puzzles, i remember a crystal puzzle that took us half a day to figure out!.
 
Thanks forum :), Gonna play the **** out of HL2, I remember glued to my seat about the story, and I found it very scary. Any news on Half Life 3? just doing a quick google search and there are a lot of threads about it
