An old pilot trick. My middle ear canals are blocked after a bad cold and I've been doing this routinely lately.I get this, for me I found if I hold my nose and try to inhale/exhale (not too hard) through my nose that sometimes moves things.
Boil your head to evaporate the water.
Feeling that warm trickle out of your ear after hours of having it blocked has to be one of the greatest experiences ever.
Don't forget you can also use mustard or a silica gel / other desiccant of your choice.
Isopopyl alcohol. Drop a smidge in your ear and all the water will disappear within seconds!
I do this every time this happens to me after swimming. Leaves you ears drier than Mars mind...
Can't beleive I've just read every reply in a thread about removing water from ones ears.
The answer is clearly a tap on the head.
