Games like this are the reason publishers want to block the second hand market, what a load of rubbish. The publisher will spend millions advertising this dog **** and then moan that piracy is the reason it flopped.

So many things with this game are worthy of criticism but I especially like how the aliens will run past 3-4 AI marines just to attack you.

Not really.
The shocking reviews which will put most people off, other than those who chance pick it up without knowing anything about it, is what will lead to poor sales figures.

If this game fails, which is looking likely, Sega will be well aware of why it did so.

Whoa that's bad. I never knew the game looked like that once upon a time ago. Saw on the start up this is using unreal technology wondering if it's using the unreal 2 engine.

I actually finished the campaign last night, I don't like not finishing games but this was a struggle, I knew there were 11 levels so I was counting down to the end. The only slight saver is the multiplayer is actually quite fun.

Bad games are expected now and again but when it happens with a franchise like Aliens that has so much potential it's even more disappointing.

is there a Horde mode in the MP? Or rather an escape-horde mode. I know theres an escape mode but from the vids i saw that was just like aliens v marines 5 v 5 or something.

Indeed, and as soon as the sales are miserable, the price of the brand new game will drop significantly. A year from now, you will find it in the bargain bins.

It doesnt always work out like that though, plenty of games on the market that were hated by the majority, and yet could be considered a diamond in the rough. Same vice versa.

Try a few weeks before it is sitting in the bargain bin and still overpriced at £17.99.

Just makes you wonder why even bother releasing a game in that state...

I find it difficult to believe no one stood up and say "Guys... This game sucks".
