Looking to go GTX 670 SLI

As above I currently have Asus GTX 670 DirectCU II 2048MB and my PSU OCZ ZT 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular Power Supply http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...w=&pup_c=pla&gclid=CMqF4vrVg7UCFe3KtAod8RIAPw

Now from what I have read on here this is the card to go SLI with EVGA GTX 670 FTW 2048MB.

Now my main question is does my PSU have enough grunt. (Im thinking yes).

Indeed it does. I ran 2*680's and a 3930K all overclocked on a 750W PSU. You have a decent brand, so good to go

Should do - how many amps does it provide on the 12v rail(s)? You can see from the sticker on the PSU.

More than enough to run Sli

As others have mentioned, more than enough, it provides 62amps on the +12v Rail alone with that model.

I have been offered a EVGA Signature 2 card, for £250 new. Go for it or stick with the leaf blower version.

Go for it, excellent card, very good clockers and you have EVGAs fully transferable warranty with no proof of purchase needed for new buyers.

Ok I have my 2nd 670 plugged in, Drivers set to 3D max (showing SLI). When ever I run anything 3D games, benchmark it crashes my PC. I have even reinstalled the driver.

Please help me.

Try the new card on its own, see if it happens as well. If it doesn't try swapping the cards around.

If you are on 310.xx drivers, they were shocking for me in SLI (crashes) and I found the 313.95 drivers to be sweet. Next best were the 306.23 drivers, which were also very good.

Im running 313.95.

It looks like it was the SLI Bridge in my motherboard box. Im using an old ASUS one I had.

At stock Heaven run fine.

SLI bridges are flimsy and take nothing to faulter. Glad you sorted it

It looked funny to start with.

My ASUS has a max power of 122% the EVGA has 144%.

Is it better to have matching cards.

I have a FC R4 my side fan, should it be blowing air on to the 670s or sucking hot air out.

I feel a side fan could keep the warm air trapped between the GPU's, so would look to have front fans sucking in and the top fan blowing out.

I wouldn't bother with a side fan but if you have a spare one, no harm in trying.

Look at temps and see what works best but deffo top blowing out and front sucking in.

I have 2 at the front sucking in, one at the bottom sucking in. 2 at the top and 1 at the back sucking out.

Instead of creating another thread thought I would add onto the en of this one. I am looking at getting a second MSI 670 OC in my system. I am currently running 700w OCZ ModXStream. I have read on a few other sites that this power supply is sufficient but want conformation from you guys on here as I trust what is said.
