That asteroid is tiny so I'd not bother. Part of me would like to see a large body fly by, just to see the effects first hand. Something like in Melancholia.

If the Earth did get smashed to pieces, one thing is for certain; nobody would miss us. :)

It wouldn't wipe out the whole planet if it hit, but it could still cause massive damage to whatever area it came down on. It would probably wipe out an area of several hundred square miles.

It's supposed to be over Indonesia at it's closest point, isn't it, so no loans for drugs and hookers for OcUK I'm afraid. :)

I just did some googling and reading up on calculations for if something like this actually hit... It's hard to get my head around how much energy would be released from something so small (that isn't a nuclear bomb!).
