Out of Warranty iPhone question?

Hey guys,

Got an iPhone 4 on the O2 Simplicity contract. Today it dropped out of my pocket into the bath and it was fully submerged. Managed to dry it rapidly however it was too late. It is no longer working and has obviously been water damaged!

Anyhooo I know I can go to Apple and they will swap it for a refurb for £140 however the Mrs has just got an iPhone 5... and now I want one! However I want to stay on my simplicity contract and don't have the cash to pay for a brand new iPhone 5. Is there any chance when I got to Apple and swap my phone I can pay a little extra and get an iPhone 5? Or is it like for like swap only?

Whats a reasonable price for the iPhone 4. I know mazuma and companies alike offer £135ish.

No price checks outside of the Members Market. Best thing would be to check listings on auction sites
