Going from gtx 680 to gtx 690. Can I use the same drivers?

GTX 680 drivers aren't no different then 690 drivers are they? Can I use the same drivers?

I'm not up with all the latest drivers but I'm quite sure you can,I've just had to rma my 3gb 580 classified and I'm using a 9600gt and just plugged it in at it's fine with no different drivers

Well the 690 is just SLI 680s in essence so yeah, but should be fine swapping any nvidia card really

Yes just take the 680 out and put the 690 in and engage sli in the nvidia control panel.

306.23 or 313.96 are the best drivers to use on a gtx 690.

Id just do a fresh install of the 690 drivers to make sure.

This is how I get to run a GTX 680 in benches, by disengaging sli.

I can't even remember a time when you *needed* seperate drivers. 3DFX?
