I'm totally baffled by this laptop...

Ok so I've been given a laptop to try and bring some life into, it had water spilled over the keyboard and was immediately dried (attempted to dry as best as pos) a day after this (it was left off) we tried it and only some of the keys worked on the KB but the laptop itself was entirely fine everything worked so I stripped it down carefully and removed the keyboard just to make sure nothing was left trapped inside it and totally dried it out.

Now I've re-assembled it 100% correctly and the laptop fails to boot, it'll start and the sleep icon will light up, no life from the display at all no system beeps no matter what key combos are pressed, nothing. It's like it's locked into a sleep mode.

Anyone have any suggestions? It's an MSI CR630.

Edit// I've also tried booting it without RAM/HDD/Network card/battery, still the same results and no life at all :(

If you stripped it down, and it now no longer works, looks like you put it back together incorrectly. Maybe ou have dislodged some of the ribbon cables, or riser blocks etc.

I've literally done it with a fine toothcomb, I've stripped and rebuilt loads of laptops, this is the first time I've ever had a problem like this it's driving me insane lol :(
