OCUK Members cars for sale

People would post price drops like in the MM, it would create extra moderating too. Also what if a deal went bad? It's not tooooo bad in the MM when we have a problem to deal with, but when it's a car for a considerable amount of cash it could be a problem.

I personally don't think we need car sales on here but when a 'deal went bad' it's not your problem, just like its not autotraders problem or pistonheads problem either. Plus car purchases are conducted face to face which most MM transactions are not.

Similiar rules to MM, over 1k posts and 365 days on forum.
As said before face to face is possibly one of the most common ways of buying, test drive etc.
I think it would be a good idea but have some rules to go with it as well, otherwise it will get messy.

The mount of times the word 'mate' is used in MM is sickening lol.

*once a deal is made*

"Sent payment mate"
"Payment received, thanks mate. Will send it off tomorrow"
"Ok mate, thank you"
....
"Item received, thanks mate. Trust updated"
"Good to hear mate. Trust updated"

'FOR SALE Ford Mondeo, £20k new yours for £19995'
'Mate seriously its the same as that new'
'OMG ITS MY THREAD'

5 months later...

'For sale Ford Mondeo £6k'
'Would you take £5995?'
'NO WAY M8 BUT WOULD GO TO £5998?
'Sorry... last offer is £5996'
'Not going that low, good luck with your purchase'

I've got £3.48 in my paypal account, any good to you?

But I want to sell my MX5, 1 careful owner, full service history, new boots, new pads and fury dice.
