Hi. Quick question. Is a 3.5 year old Corsair TX 650 W power supply enough for a 690? I'm running a 3770k clocked to 4.1ghz, three Intel SSD's and two old 1TBSamsung F1's! The HD's of course do go into power saving mode and these days only use them for backups.
Ive seen NVidia state a 650W device is enough but my system is probably using a bit more power than the average?

Yeah you should be fine.

Do you think the titan will lower the 690 price Kaap?

I don't know

I have noticed price cuts on 690s but I think this is only a tempory thing.

Once the benchmarks are published for the Titan running @stock (not oced) it will show below 1600p the 690 is the one to get for performance, above 1600p it will be the other way round.

What that does to pricing who knows.

Another one joins the club.:)

The Titan seems to have done wounders for GTX 690 sales.:D

Yep, they look great and have enough performance to last me a good while at the resolutions I use. A decent step up from my previous 670 also which was already pretty good. Was either going to be the Titan or the 690.
I went for the EVGA one for no big reason, although remember reading some good things about their warranties and they seem more popular so that might mean it's fairly fresh out of the factory, not that this matters really but used these thoughts as the basis for choosing one over the other otherwise I would have needed to flip a three sided coin(Asus/Gigabyte/EVGA).
