Holiday Entitlement - Opinion on this situation

You seriously lack any imagination if thats all you can come up with for a holiday. A holiday can be anything you want, not just sitting on a beach although for some it is a fantastic way to unwind.

I think you need to re-read what I wrote.. What you are saying I "lack imagination" for is exactly what I DON'T do on holiday..

Regardless of your intention the way it reads is that you only take weekend breaks because you seem to think anything more than this involves a 2 weeks in Benidorm on a beach in August. Obviously this isn't what you meant as such a comment is ridiculous, but it's how it reads.

20 days is pretty standard . Usually accompanied with +1 holiday per year for every years service.

How many people posting their holiday entitlement here are quoting their base day-0 entitlement and not their accrued entitlement?

I get 28 days holiday but no bank holidays unless my rota falls on a bank holiday. Although If I plan my days holiday I could end up booking 3 days and ending up being off for a week depending on how my rota falls.
