Is this a good gaming rig, how long will it last?

My friend just built a new PC and he wants to know if it's a good gaming rig and if it will last at least.3 years.

CPU: i7 Intel 3770k
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V Pro
Memory: 16GB Corsair Vengeance
GPU: Sapphire AMD HD Radeon 7950 3GB OC edtion
700 Corsair PSU
Samsung Blu Ray drive
1TB Wester Digial HDD (two sets) - 2TB in total.
256GB Samsung SSD

Considerably better than mine.

I would love to say that I plan on making my PC last 3 years, or even 2 years, but I know myself well enough to say that it will probably get changed piece by piece whenever I happen to have a bit of spare cash

I already have plans to replace the motherboard, the PSU and the CPU cooler :rolleyes:

But that does not mean it wont be good for another three years, it will. And your friends will be better.

i had to say yes, well apart from a few things it's the same spec as i've just got

i7 overclocked, different ram but same amount, same make of board but not pro

different sdd and bigger, plus a bigger hdd

same card but different make

different psu and no bluray, plextor dvdrw instead

I know that feeling. I had my upgrade path all setout and what do I do, go and get another card for SLI :rolleyes:

Oh well...here is to my 660's lasting 4/5 years like my 8800GT did

Might be good parts, but it might of been just thrown together
