Hi,

Had an antec h20 620 on my mini itx board for 3 days now and its keeping temps low but has a slight noise (like a hard drive fetching data). Ive been told it will go eventually but 3 days on 24/7 is long enough surely? Ive read that by lying the case down so the motherboard is horizontal will fix it , but its in a bitfenix prodigy case so its horizontal anyway.

Any ideas?

this is more than likley just the fan i had this problem yesterday when i installed mine, i just stuck a few grommets in the screw holes... its like a careless whisper now.
P.S. i know it sounds stupid but make sure you have plugged into PWR fan with the 3 pin and not the CPU fan. (i did this yesterday and wondered why it wouldnt work)

The fan that came with it didn't have the 4 pin pwm, so was on max all the time. Went and bought new antec silent fan with pwm and plugged it in and is very quiet now , silent in fact. I plugged the pump into the 3 pin case fan plug and the fan into the cpu fan as its 4 pin and can control the speed.

Still no joy with this. Goes quiet and then as soon as I do something taxing , it ramps up and then is back to being noisy. Do you think the H60 is better or worse than this? Thinking of getting the H60 and push/pull
