Delivery Feedback

Never had a problem with DPD until I went to a competitor and ordered the item Friday, paid for Saturday delivery and didn't receive it til the next Friday!
Decided then I was staying loyal to OcUK :p

I've recently ordered two items, one was DPD the other arrived via Royal Mail.

Both arrived when expected, I was appreciative of the text & emails advising of despatch etc
Overall, very impressed.

No Haribo though..... :( :( :(

Glad most of you are impressed with DPD. We are too, we are glad to say the success rate of first time delivery rates and the percentage of lost or damaged parcels are good for us (and even better for you!), and this is proven by our customers with the great feedback we have.

I find DPD excellent. Usually, when I get an estimated delivery time of say 10 - 11, it often turns up at light 10 - 10.05! Can't beat that. :)

Further to this post of mine, it turns out that my fiancé opened both parcels and intercepted the Haribo without my knowledge, she casually mentioned it last night!!

So, erm, thanks for the Haribo after all!! :o :D

LOL

That actually made me laugh for some reason :)

I must admit that I love DPD's service whenever they're delivering anything to me, knowing that the delivery window for them is fairly narrow (and usually known by about 9am), means if need be I can pop out and get the shopping or whatever without worrying about missing them :)

Not a big fan of DPD, the local driver has a tendency to not leave calling cards. Ie just not bothering. Which means there's nothing to sign and leave in a safe place.

FedEx is where it's at and happy to pay extra, with those sites who use them as an option. Got my drivers number signed. If you aren't in they actually phone you. Then if you want it left somewhere you can send them a text message. Or you can try saying ill be back at x-time is there any chance. FedEx is now by far the best.

But why are they all so slow in implementing tracking with automated texts/emails. Delivery options and changes on their sites etc.
it must waste so much fuel and time delivering when no ones in. dPD I couldn't even fill in change delivery date without a missed card unique number. I'm certainly not going to phone them.

FedEx didn't leave me a card today, certainly not impressed ringing three different numbers to try and find out where it was.

I've mentioned before that DPD have always been brilliant for me.

It's expensive, and most couriers cater primarily for business customers, who don't tend to miss deliveries.
