London looks so flat and boring compared to American cities. Even the Shard doesn't make that much of an impact on the Skyline.

Most American cities look much the same. The only really notable exception is New York (specifically Manhattan).

Take Chicago for example:

Would have looked a lot better on a day with a clear sky and nearer the taller buildings. Just looks grey and boring

. Even the dust covered UAE landscape posted a bit back looked better.

As much as I don't like London, it does have some charm and character at times - I like some of the older buildings mixed in with the new.

I'd like to see the same view from the Shard - it's placed in a far more interesting location.
