Hey Guys,

Just a quick question me and the Mrs have been dating for just over 6months now. Things are going great etc however at the start of the relationship you do the sweet SMS messages all the time and take 20mins to say goodnight etc etc.

Now 6months have past naturally these have slowed down now and I dont ever really think or miss them as I know how she feels about me and I dont question that and would never.

Now all of a sudden she has gone back over our old text's and she has questions why I dont say these things etc anymore or why I dont respond how I used to etc etc.

Anyone ever had to deal with this? I dont mind doing texting and talking like that but if I did it as much as when we first started going out thats a lot of time taken up! lol.

I assume at the beginning the texts etc were a two way thing?

If as you say it has gradually stopped, then that must also be a two way thing.

So if she's asking you why you stopped, ask her why she stopped?

6 months is still early days. However, if you're not one of those people that texts many sweet nothings "just because" don't try and be one if it's not you.

If it's important to her, send her some occasional messages.

However if you feel the spark is going, either try to re-ignite it, or watch that you don't end up in a stale relationship.

Important questions:

1 - are you a teenager? (If yes, do not answer the following questions)
2 - is this your first proper relationship (that 'girl' you met on WoW does not count)
3 - is this a LDR?
4- calling someone you don't really know 'Mrs' (6 months) is telling. Tell us why we should not judge you for doing so.

Most women do that. Just make sure you send her texts saying you love her and how much you miss her.

Dont know how needed she is but it can get annoying after a while. Still 6 months is not that long.

Lol at some of these responces, though:

3 - is this a LDR? - No see each other 5-6days a week, only not those 1/2 as I am at the gym till late after work

Most phones default to retaining a rolling history of 500 per contact, so it's not a case of 'keeping them' - more not actively deleting them. Who actively deletes them?

No not her first relationship. The thing seems to be she is always constantly giving compliments and saying really nice things, but it now seems she is only saying these things as she is expecting them so she is like constantly fishing for compliments and I always bite.

Now this is the problem as I think I have said lots of nice things but she had fished for them all! So I don't ever think about just saying random things.......

Just an example if we see each other Sunday all day and Monday we don't due to gym, by 12pm Monday ill already get texts saying I miss you and can't wait to see you etc etc

Sorry but it's only 12hours lol so I don't even think about saying it. Is that me on the wrong?
