green/blue stuff from screws?

my brand new replacement screws for macbook pro's bottom case seems to coming out on its own even though its tight. I think i need these green stuff they put on the thread of the screw to prevent loosening due to vibration.
Does anyone know the name of this stuff?

thanks, should i get purple or blue, i want to able to remove the screws again if i ever needed a upgrade?

Correct (loctite make a product called threadlock).

I'd just get the blue, it's typically a breakable seal with normal hand tools.

With thread seal you will be able to take the screw out again just be careful you dont strip the head.

Loctite make a million different thread locking, retaining and gluing fluids.

Yep, you want blue.

They range from anti vibration, easy to undo with hand tools, to requiring ridiculous amounts of heat and huge amounts of torque to undo. The latter is permanent to all intents and purposes.

They only cure in the absense of air. And tend to be quite pricey!
