Exactly my thinking, this is the thing, car is about to go over 55k miles, so rather than wait and it causes additional problems etc I'll just change them now and I know they'll be good for another 30-40k... job done.I loved doing the coil packs, ht leads and spark plugs on my RX8. Little 6" hole behind the passenger wheel so you could either see what you were meant to be doing or trying to do by touch.
If you can get access to a lift or a pit, it makes the job so much easier than on a driveway.
If you can't find anything that says the packs have been done, and the car has done over 30k, change them. Mine was on 58k when they started to break down, changed them for the same parts you're going to be using and there was a hell of a difference.
Hi Mate,Hello buddy... hows the good ship Minerva??
