That's because generally speaking Pakistanis and Bangladeshis represent a large portion of the problem.
What problem? You having to put up with looking at brown people instead of white?
That's because generally speaking Pakistanis and Bangladeshis represent a large portion of the problem.
My problem with it all is:
- Immigration has been too available. The British passport should be more valuable than it is now. We should have (and still should) adopt a skills based entry requirement. No letting Jamal in because he wants to. If Jamal has a doctorate and will contribute to helping society, then he should be considered on a case by case basis.
- The immigrants for a large part do NOT integrate well, as is becoming far more clearly evident day by day (argue semantics all you want). Europe as a whole has lost its way with religion. Good/bad/indifferent it depends on your viewpoint, but only people with faith can TRULY understand just how dangerous it can be. Islam will NOT go away, and WILL become more and more of a problem.
- There is an inequality in cultural attitudes and perceptions. There is a continual media campaign for the glorification of blacks etc, whilst the white population is having to bend over backwards in order to not cause offense at every opportunity. We have been rendered impotent.
- As some of the replies in this thread have shown, if you don't like it, you're a bigot/racist/xenophobe/insert any number of stigmatising comments.
Universities, education, schooling what utter ********.
The rest of Western europe is in the same boat as us. Its a free ride, you get something for nothing. Culture`s will always clash and sometimes that culture is so vastly inherently different there will always be animosity. Integration is not the answer for differing cultures, yes people are people but some people are just ******S.

Really not the case so please get at least your facts straight.
I've been here for over 8 years. Still not even eligible for indefinite leave to remain; much less a passport. Not quite as easy to get as you might think.
What problem? You having to put up with looking at brown people instead of white?
"Black" isn't a culture...
Also, define "integrate" properly. You seem to think "integration" is nothing less than a person completely forgetting everything about themselves and making sure everything that they do is "British".
Of course you do. You'd be happier if everyone in the UK were white, wouldn't you?
Unfortunately this will get you branded as a bigot.
Integration throughout history hasn't really worked, and for good reason. I personally think that a good **** up in the economies, some real grindstone stuff will help revert people's minds a bit again.
Good luck when that happens.
Haha, look at the statistics for immigration in the 20th-21st Century.
And please don't take it personally, but on what basis do you feel you should be allowed into this country and not just wander back home?
Your economy is going to be better, you'll be back within your own culture and climate etc etc
Explain to me how i've gotten a 'free ride'?
Not claimed or been eligible for any benefit over the last 8 years apart from two -
1) NHS - which i've used twice in the last 8 years. I prefer the healthcare in India and go there if I want a checkup that can wait.
2) Council tax exemption - because I was a student.
However, I have been paying over triple the uni fees that citizens do (if you take into account before the fees went up, then 10 times).
I'm also working at the moment so paying tax as well.
How is this a 'free ride'?
The fact that I contribute more to the economy than most others? I have a skilled job that I do well, pay tax and prior to that paid for my education at university and school. Parents also send me money when I need it so because of me, and others like me, money is flowing into the country.
Not to mention the fact that the world is becoming increasingly integrated and I do believe that people should be allowed to go where they please.
What is the justification for not allowing me here?
In any event, eventually, I do want to move back to India and settle down there. However, all my friends are here at the moment and I work in Law so it is not an area that is as easy to move around in. Once India's legal market liberalizes, it will be easier.
People prefer to be around people similar to them.
There's no arguing against there being substantial cultural differences.
It's not down to skin colour.
It's too many cultures mixed together, creates conflict where there otherwise wouldn't be conflict.
What is the justification for not allowing me here?

By your own admission you have claimed 2 and prefer the healthcare system in India. Some would say that`s two too many. Reversing this when i go to Inida with work and Holiday to get that level of treatment i need insurance or i face a massive bill that i would be paying for the rest of my life.
Its not swings and roundabouts, its just swings atm.
No - I used people on purpose. I actually thought about substituting it with any living creature in general, but I used people for clarity.
It's natural behavior for all living creatures, not my personal preference.
Don't take it to heart mate, this is a very ignorant forum when it comes to integration, embracing other cultures and they see themselves as "threatened" whereas it really doesn't affect their day to day lives. Most of them are hypocrites - the UK is what it is today THANKS to the different cultures, and it's a better place for it. People want to be stuck in the 16th century - fortunately most of it is just internet bravado.
Based on an immigration quota, immigrants should have to justify why they should be allowed in.
Doesn't sound like anyone has a problem with you personally, I think it's was just a general question of "why should we let anyone in".
Hardly think i'm an exception. My answer equally stands as a general justification of why anyone should be let in.

I have also paid over the top in uni fees and pay tax.
I was a student. All students get council tax exemption. If the law made it specific to EU students, then I would pay it.
NHS - I had a bad stomach ache. Is it viable for me to fly to India for that? Really? There's an NHS here that I was eligible for, so I used it. If it was only private, then I would do that and pay for it.
If you go to India, i'm pretty sure you can get government health care. However, you also need to go through the same thing that local citizens do, i.e. stand in line for 6 hours and hope you maybe get seen. If you want better care, pay private, which is what I do when i'm there.
And it is NOT exorbitant, especially not for someone who earns in pounds. A general checkup at a top hospital will run you about £4. Medicine can vary but generally should be about £1. A battery of blood tests, x-rays etc along with follow ups shouldn't cost more than £50.
