@Strife - That Metal Gear toy is MASSIVE! I dread to think how much that bad boy set you back as it looks highly detailed and well made.

My game arrived yesterday. Put in a couple hours so far. Pretty fun, but shame the story is really uninteresting. Hopefully it gets better. It still hasn't explained yet why Raiden got back into this after his happy MGS4 ending, unless I missed/skipped something. I can't see him giving up Rose and his child after everything that happened.

It's from 3A toys, it was $490 although sold out now.

threeA opened up preorders on their website for 24 hours a while back, and if you ordered then you got free shipping, a poster and a solid snake pilot. If you missed that then there were other places to get it but shipping was a pain. It just about fit in the car when I went to collect it from the post office!

I actually don't, I have MGS HD Collection Limited Edition, then MGS 1,2,3,4, Rising and the PSP ones. And REX

This game is chuffing awesome. First time in ages I've actually been entertained for more than 10 minutes! Has a nice balance between Ninja Gaiden & Bayonetta, still somehow retains a Metal Gear 'vibe' and the difficulty is just about right. Boss fights are spectacular. The only thing I don't particularly like is the unique weapons effectively taking over your entire heavy attack mode.

Just completed it

Although, I started again afterwards for fun and realised I was playing wrong the entire time, haha... I wasn't parrying right, this time I didn't get hit by Bladewolf a single time.

How do you mean you werent parrying right? For someone who hasnt quite got to grips with parrying yet

Well, I just wasn't doing it at all basically

When they are attacking you flick the left stick towards them and press square, DON'T constantly hold it in their direction.

With great difficulty, had to restart the chapter so that I had some health items left before the fight

I was relying on the unlockable dodge move.
