Metro Bank - Anyone use them ?

As title really... The first new High street bank in 100 years.
Open 7 days a week, I noticed a branch opened in my town and am curious if anyone has switched to them or should avoid them like the plague.

I'm interested cos they don't charge on foreign cash purchases and ATM withdrawals.

Its worth having an account even if you only use it for the excellent foreign transaction policy.

No charges for cash withdrawls from foreign ATM's or purchases. It's the best account for travel but most people can't get one as you can only open them in person.

Yeah seems like all their Branches are in London + home counties at the moment but they seem to have expansion plans....

Might go in there and have a word on Sunday(open bank shock horror!!!)

i have an account due to working on the debit card printers in store, like fox says the accounts are great for travelling abroad, i also like the contactless cards.

They will be opening in guildford, brighton and a load more this year.

I have my main account with them. Superb service. Contact less debit card, real humans available who speak English, 8 till 8, 7 days a week.
