*** PC Gaming - Daily Deals Thread ***

Anyone know where I can get GTA4 for a nice cheap price? Fancy trying the ice nhancer mod.

It's £13 on Amazon UK physical boxed. You can grab a Steam code for the complete edition (GTA IV + EFLC) for £20 here. They are trustworthy in my experiences, I've used them for a couple of old games.

www.dlcompare.com is a very useful site if you're ever looking for the cheapest place to get certain games.

think gta works out cheap on Amazon US with the CAGROCKS code.

There are no download versions of GTA IV on Amazon US so he'll have quite a big problem getting the game to his house. :D

'Traditionally', when's the next Steam sale likely to be?

I've been convinced to play the Assassins Creed series in order.

I know it's cheap on GMG right now, but I've finally got the PC hooked up to the TV and it's my intention to play it from the sofa with the wireless pad. Loving the 'Big Picture' mode, so I'd much rather wait and have it on Steam....

Not sure about AC deals(playing through the whole series from the start will be a great experience though, trust me), but just wanted to say I totally agree with that. Big Picture is great:)... I have just started using it myself. If nothing else, it finally makes it worthwhile adding non-steam games to steam!

It's just so neatly don. For example just pressing the X-box button automatically changes over to Big Picture mode.
Plus the web browser is great!!

When I hooked the PC to the TV I got a wireless keyboard with a mouse pad on it and I eventually found a browser designed for use on a TV from the sofa (Kylo).
Long story short, it sucks!!

The Steam browser works a treat, and after a little getting used to, using the pad for typing (just short things, web searches, brief posts etc) is a breeze.
Only issue I have is that when typing the screen is obscured and it's hard to see where you're typing.

Anyway, way OT, but this thread is full of Steam users, so get involved in Big Picture boys!!

Anyone who has played through the whole AC series,

I personally only have AC1, 2 and 3. Should i get brotherhood and revelations or are they just side stories that not pertinent to the main game?
