Hi,

I'm after a reasonable pair of in ear headphones with mic that will work on my galaxy S3 phone for when i'm at work.

I have been using a pair of old Sennheiser CX 300 that i've had for years but I broke them the other day so now need to replace them asap, the sound quality on them was fine for at work, so want a pair of similar quality or better but with a mic that also works.

There seems to be loads of hadhones that work with Iphones but what reasonable ones work on S3? does anyone have any good suggestions for me?

Thanks for the reply but at! £150 a pair they are far more than I'm looking to spend for work.
I'm looking at £70 max with reasonable sound and that the Mic works wit the Samsung s3 so I don't have to yank the phones out if anyone rings me.

i didnt know this was a problem, pretty much every set of headphones ive bought with a mic has worked with my s3, except a really cheap pair!

none of mine are expensive though, all between 20 - 40 quid

yeah it seems the mic wont work on many headphones on the s3
can you tell meout of the ones you have had that work what you consider to be the best? they will probably do me fine.

Do you not have the ones that came in the box? They're very solid as bundled buds go, at least they'll match up to CX300s fairly well. The problem I've found with the S3 is that the amplification is rubbish so you need headphones that are really really easy to drive otherwise you're constantly at full volume.

I've not found much of a problem with the default headphones, but I use PowerAmp if I'm listening to anything on mine. PowerAmp certainly makes a difference in terms of providing more oomph and bass response.

I found the standard headphones just about ok but they only last me a month before the cable breaks and sound only comes out of one ear. The c300 I found have much better sound as well.

Went for a pair of bassbuds in the end.

Good choice. I was tired of having to buy new earphone because the wires kept breaking or they stopped working & had to be sent back for replacement. I've had two pairs of Bassbuds, one for working out & other for normal use, and both have been flawless.
