Hi all,

As above, seem to be having a little bit of an issue, there is a patch about the size of a hand where the paint on the driver side bumper panel is flaking off, its not on the front section of the bumper but the side part.

Whats the best/cheapest way to sort this without it looking rubbish? it has a rough surface at the moment where the paint is chipping off

How much we talking? Just thinking of bits I need to sort before I sell up mid this year.

The one in sig is not mine obviously but MK5 GT TDi in silver

Cheapest way to cover up some paint chipping

Cheapest way is a fine piece of scratch & an aerosol but if you want to go Full ***** then slap a bit of smoothrite on it. :p

If a 120 quid is cheap to you then go the Pro way. Choice is yours. :D

Chips away type places will do a spot spray and blend it in but as its damaged (or faulty I guess is a better way of putting it) just get it all done.
