i3 3220 OC

Not far at all as the multiplier is locked on that CPU and theres no Turboboost, you m,aybe able to increase the BCLK a tiny bit.

Lost me, BCLK?

Anyway I can get it unlocked? The BIOS is giving me a ton of options related to CPU frequency and voltage, someone told me all that was locked?

Confused :D

The BCLK is the 100Mhz (FSB in old-terms) that the CPU ratio then times by to give you the core frequency.

So 100MHz x 33 multi = 3.3GHz core speed.

Increase the BCLK and the core speed rises, but you may only manage a small increase.

Yeah just rebooted and all the options are locked :( lol.

Couldn't see the BCLK option, I seen the information but no way to change it.

even if you raise it one or two on the BCLK you would probably get some instability, its just not worth it the for the extra 200mhz or so.

Yeah I ain't touching it after doing a little reading, seems really pointless as reports as low as 100mhz have show instability. Aw well, I will be ditching this thing a few months after Haswell comes out and i5s drop in price :D
