How come the price for this just seems to be going up?
Not a very competitive price at the moment, as a quick search reveals.

Does seem like it's risen a fair bit. Just had a look at my ocuk order history. Paid £189.99, (incl shipping) for mine in sep 2012. But ive seen it a bit lower than that on ocuk lately. Possible currency exchange rate fluctuations? 3770k seems to be the same price though?

yeah dollars probably up as all pc parts are in dollars i believe

also pc parts like memory are on the up at the moment.

I know they ran out of stock the other week(not for long though), but the price only seems to have gone up today.
Don`t think this is only limited to the 3570k, looks like all the Intel Cpus have gone up in price.

Ocuk told us a few months ago that memory prices would would continue to increase, so the prices were not unexpected.
Just looked at the price for the 2500k, that is now £180, £15 more than I paid over 18 months ago.

Yea got someone looking at a new build soon too but damm ocuk whats with the price tag?

I can only find this price increase at ocuk everyone else seems to have the old price.

I paid £170 a few months ago.

Maybe OCUK had to buy new stock at a higher price?
