They are for the suspension on my mountain bike. I can buy them as part of a kit, but it costs £40 for an entire set of bolts when I only need 2 washers.

They are 10mm ID x 16MM OD x 2mm thick - stainless steel.

I can't seem to find them anywhere.

You must have a local fasteners supplier nearby? On an industrial estate or something? My local would probably give me 2 washers for free - hardly worth writing out a ticket.

A local specialist engineering/hardware supplier will probably be your best bet.

Pretty sure the place I use down the road would be able to get, or would know where to get them.

If you want, I can make you some on the lathe easily enough. I do not have any Stainless Steel, but can easily order a piece of 304 Stainless. Would cost you a fiver including delivery. If I had some in stock, you could have had it for a couple of quid!

what forks do you have on your bike, if you can give me a little more info i may be able to help, make, model and year pls + where exactly the washers are for

Skunkworks: That's just a bog standard M10 stainless steel washers should be stock by most engineer merchants.

M10 washers are internal hole- 10.0mm , width 18mm -20.0mm OD, & 2.0mm thickness, so the perfect size.

Exactly what he wants, bar them being rubber and not steel.

But rubber and steel have such similar compression qualities I doubt it will matter.

LOL.. I noticed that, just hadn't got the heart to point it out this early in a morning. That said having a source for rubber washers is a good thing to know..

M10 washers are internal hole- 10.0mm , maximum width 20.0mm OD, have seen them slightly narrower & 2.0mm thickness, so the perfect size.

I have these in front of me. If they are suitable for the job let me know and I'll post some out.
