Falcao didn't work at all for me in 433. Might be better with 4321 as the forwards are more inside forwards than wingers. He just doesn't have the passing to bring people into play. If you're going to just whip it in from out wide then he is very useful in the air as you know but is very one dimensional and if you're playing someone good it probably won't take long for them to figure you out.

Benzema is better for that formation IMO.

I can only use Falcao in a 2 now. I've got the UP version and it's shoot -> goal most times :D.

I think Falcao might work okay in a 4-3-2-1, as for me, in that formation the LF and RF score more of the goals, with the ST being the one bringing them into play. I have Reus there, and while he is incredibly quick, I don't feel he has to be, he just has to be able to finish when he does get the chances. That's something Falcao can certainly do. Might actually build a 4-3-2-1 team with UP Falcao in just to test it :D

i tried 4321 for a while but found it really depends on the work rates of the midfielders and full backs. if you have a high attack full back, then you want a high defense low attack mid on that side. it's also extremely rare if not impossible to find a decent full back who stays back all the time. so choosing your midfield wisely will be the key to success imo.

this game sucks anyway, i just came on to ask a question. a 14 year old (im guessing 14 because of the "99" after his name) bought some coins from me. my listing did say within it, message me the details of the player you would like me to buy after paying for the coins. i waited 2 days and never received any message. i messaged him several times and no reply.

do i keep the money? or should i refund him? at the end of the day i have done no wrong, i tried to send him the coins and he never facilitated a way to do so. also if i do refund him, i lose money due to ebay and paypal fee's, unless he accepts a refund transaction through ebay, which is most unlikely since he does not know how to use the messaging service.

so basically i would end up losing money for his mistake.

If you use the ST to bring people into play then you'll definitely want someone other than Falcao IMO. It's just not his strength at all. In fact he's pretty poor at it. :(

His strengths are scoring goals from anything, headers, volleys, finesse shots, weak foot shots, power shots...

I found Callejon useful in the ST position, play a nice along the ground through ball and it's pretty much a goal. Need someone like Alonso in the CCM position to facilitate said through ball.

Hmmm, still tempted to give him a go. If I built a La Liga 4-3-2-1, I could use the midfield 3 (Xavi, Xabi Alonso, Busquets maybe?) to create the chances, and use Falcao to put them away.

He is very, very good don't get me wrong. Non UP Falcao was like 150 in 125 for me and UP Falcao is 33 in 18 or something so far....

I think he'll work well in 4321 just not if you use your CMs to ping everything into him and then drag the CBs out and play from that because his passing is pretty poor.

Busquets is immense. I won't hear a bad word said about him :D. I would use Fabregas, Xabi Alonso/Busquets and somebody with a bit more drive. Lack of decent players like that in La Liga although Essien is decent ish.

Busquets feels better than his card suggests and I wouldn't think Xavi would be worth it but if you do go for Xavi you could get Fabregas in as well although he won't move much with his med/med work rates he is still pretty good.

I was on the verge of selling Falcao in a 433 until I swapped formation.
 
Is it only me who seems to play 1 defensive CM in the middle of 4321 and a playmaker/workhorse on the outside? Seems a lot of people want 2 defensive players, 1 on each side.
 
Not tried him yet, but gonna build a cheap 4321 La Liga with him in for the upcoming tourney (So beware, La Liga player prices will be stupid high) and hopefully a left footed RF with 2* weak shouldn't be too bad, I mean look at Robben, iirc he has 2* weak foot and he's not too bad..... :D
