Business Idea - Progression

Hi,

I have worked in an element of the construction industry for 12 years and from which have an idea for a website which I believe could be very successful.

What's the best way to progress a business model/idea now?

It would be predominantly internet based with marketing and social media necessary.

Any (sensible) suggestions please?

Speak to your bank and be told in no uncertain terms that your idea is either old, terrible or both.

You might want to be a bit more forthcoming with them regarding details so they have any idea at all what you are actually capable of or intending to do.

Do they still have business advisors etc?

Would you have to do some form of presentation or produce a proposed business plan at this stage?

Not sure if serious? Of course you will have to. They wont give you anything based on an idea in your head.

You will need funds. A business plan will be required if speaking to a bank, however, if you can self fund it, you might not. What do you know about websites? If nothing at all, get learning.
