Cheap build or laptop for Skype

Afternoon all I've arount £320 (exVAT) per machine to spend and these machines will pretty much be running Skype video calls 12 hours a day I've not thrown a build together as the internet here is so slow its painfull to browse, but i'm wondering if it might just be better to buy 3 laptops for the job. Also Thinking that a linux build like ubuntu might be better as its free and should still do skype and web browsing.

One last thing is there any free download management software out there that will hold your downloads untill a specific time as there's sevear bandwidth issues 0600-2400 (3.3Gb for £89/month)

Yeah I usually don't recommend any corsair PSU's but given the budget it seemed a better choice than an Antec, not sure which was better.

same, i use to use them then had 2 fail one after the other, so i stay completely away from them now.

Very poor choice for the hdd, especially for the OS. More suited to laptops and consoles.
