I am sleeping waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to much at the moment, but its not quality sleep so I am still tired in the morning :(

You can set your watch by me...as soon as it hits 9.30pm my eyes are drooping and if Brian Cox is on the telly I am dead to the world on the couch for good :/ These days, if I am still walking and talking past 10.30pm then its cause we have been out for the evening or something...

Dunno what it is with Brian Cox either - it could be midday and his voice will just send me to sleep in 20 mins - guaranteed! My OH thinks its hilarious :(

6-7 Although I can take hours to get to sleep so I may occasionally go to bed at say 11pm with a 7am alarm but don't end up falling asleep until about 1am :(

Sometimes I may feel terrible, stinging eyes etc but most days after about an hour i'm quite functional.

As mentioned by some people, weekends assuming I have nothing to do I quite regularly get about 10 hours which can sometimes be much worse as I can wake up with a pounding headache from oversleeping and usually feel groggy for longer.

I like my sleep. Sleeping quite a lot recently, I wake up around 7am in the morning. But sleep at around 10pm... Pretty bad really. I get about 9-10 hours most nights.

I can however sleep at the drop of a hat. I sleep around 10 hours on weekends and I get naps to and from work, anything from 30mins to an hour on the train...and no, I've never missed my stop :p

6-7 most nights. Depends if you count 30 mins of snooze time in the morning. For some reason I just can't avoid this now. I think this sort of thing really varies from person to person. Some people can get away with very little sleep and not seem to be affected by it. I'm able to easily switch between time zones because of shift work and can usually power through a day without much sleep as long as I catch up within a day or two.

7-8 hours here as well. Used to be a lot less but have certainly noticed the difference since putting the time (!?) into getting more sleep

Normally 7-8 hours here. I'm always amazed through I will wake on my own about 5 minutes before my alarm goes off, without fail. The body is an incredible thing.

After quitting 2 years of huge daily morphine doses, cold turkey, I'm now insomniac (and obviously massively addicted) . This means I get around 2-3 hours of proper sleep at best, but usually more like 1-2 before I'm awake again. I try to avoid nodding off during the day and tiring myself out before bedtime, but after 3-4 days of bad nights I'll crash and shut down for 8-10 hours. Sleeping tablets are useless thanks to my incredibly high tolerance for drugs...

Luckily, my wife is pretty brilliant, so she makes sure I have plenty of chores to occupy me and is understanding during crash periods...
It sucks, but it was either cold turkey or 2-3 years of methadone replacement - no thanks!

I didn't wake up till 5am this morning and it was bliss....normally wake up 3-4am no matter what time I go to bed :(

So 4-5 hrs is normal, anything over that is luxury...
