Does anyone know if i block a new Ebay user who is bidding on a item that i am selling, stops them from bidding again? Or do i need to cancel their bid too? I have already stated in huge bold letters in my item description that i wont accept new Ebay user bids, because i don't want to be messed about etc.

I know new Ebay users need to start somewhere, but the item i am selling is one of the more expensive things i have sold on Ebay and i want it to be a straight forward sell.

goto the block bidder list and add the user.
its in the customer support section.

Done that, thanks :)

So how will you be messed about? If he doesn't pay there will be a long list of bidders you can offer the item to.

To me that is messing about, i have had it happen before, and no one took the second offer i offered. So i had to relist again, and then the item sold for less.

I just rather sell more expensive items to bidders with a good amount of positive feed back, preferably 100%.

nah that never works, been messed about loads selling phones to muppets with 0 or a few feedback, winds me up a treat.

and they will all put the price up bidding against each other, if the winner doesnt pay just offer it to the next one down, which would probably have been less value than if the non-paying winner didnt bid
