Hey

I'm looking to purchase a ticket for Sigur Ross in Brixton next week and have found a buy it now auction on ebay.

As an e-ticket it will be sent electronically so presumably there is nothing to stop him selling multiples of the same ticket, and then being refused entry at the door.

This si the auction

He has sold tidkets before and does have positive feedback so Im probably just being too paranoid, but this is ebay.

So what do you guys think of this auction?

I bought an eticket off eBay once, worked out fine. Sure he could sell loads, just got to go with old fashioned trust that they're not going to do that.

Who'd bother trying to scam someone with Sigur Ros...

They'd probably try and sell tickets people are actually interested in :p

As it's so close to the event you'd still be within the paypal/eBay case raising window should anything happen
Was going to post the same thing. You'd have to deal with the hastle of opening a case and all that, But it's safer than buying one a year before the event when you have no come back.

Not that it would make much difference, but you could get a copy of the receipt signed by the buyer saying he confirms you can use them as he can't go or something?

There's also the flip side to this. What's to stop the buyer from using the ticket then raising a paypal query saying the tickets were invalid. They get to go to the concert and then get their money back.

That was my thoughts when I put my Reading tickets and O2 Wireless tickets on eBay. Luckily it worked out ok
