Anyone been to Thomas Land at Drayton Manor?

Our 2 year old lad is absolutely bonkers on Thomas the tank engine. Has anyone visited Thomas Land, is it worth a trip?. Thinking of a week long break in April/May time and wanted some opinions on it. Anywhere nearby you would recommend to stay at?. Would you recommend the Drayton Manor hotel?.

Don't know about the Hotel but I've been to Thomas Land a few times with my daughter and her friend. I'd say theyd have fun, you get the usual small kiddies rides but then you can also ride with thomas and/or Emily, Harold the helicopter as well. All in all a good day out

Ta, it certainly looks good on the website. Having looked at the prices for accommodation at the Drayton Manor hotel it's actually fairly good value it would seem.

LOL. I'm thinking I will probably trump that, I'm 42 this year and looking forward to going already.
