When would be a good time to go in March? I'd like to actually get to go on some of the rides rather than just enjoying their queuing systems!

Obviously term time finishes just at the end so I imagine it'll be very busy then, would the 25th be a good date?

Go one day when it is cold and raining, short queues and clean seats on the rides. Failing that as Magno says, the 27th it always a good bet.

I drove past the other day when it was looking rather grim, and there were quite a number of cars there. However, now it's half term it's probably none. Unfortunately I won't be passing it today. The queues aren't normally too bad at Thorpe Park anyway, but I don't think the weather really phases people.

If you get their early enough, towards the front of any queues when it opens, then you'll find you can normally get on to some of the more major rides a couple of times before an unreasonable wait develops.

have u taken a look at the tussauds annual pass?
I pick one up most years, ussually around £100 and covers thorpe park, alton towers, chessington, and a few other bits.
ps,
i also went on march 27th, have been over 9000 times
