I have been up Mount Teide on Tenerife which is 3,718 m (12,198 ft), but we drove most of the way and then got the cable car.

Mount Fansipan in Vietnam. 3,143 metres (10,312 ft). Highest in Indochina. Nearly killed me
Ah, but I said highest cable car, not ski lift. (Pedant mode)*
* I thought it was the highest lift too, damn it!

Carrauntoohil, (1038m), not high, but I'm not a particularly mountainous fellow, unlike my dad who did it seriously when he was younger. In fact he did most things. Saw him in a book once.

I went up Sfell pike when I was in my teens no prolm but in adulthood found the roofs of Villa Park (in the snow) and Brmingham NIC abit scary.

just can't decide between routes, one I prefer the look of the route, the other you summit on new year eve/day. Just need to get training, I'm a fat couch potato ATM. ~20months to prepare.

I did Lemosho route. Pictures are up on a thread somewhere. Let me know if you have any questions.
Which route, how did you find the alttitude sickness? Which company? Would you do anything different? Did you make a thread?
How was that route?
Been mainly looking at Rongai as its the least used, Machame route is the one for new year, least interesting route by the sounds of it.
Lemosho is meant to be the nicest views/wildlife.
How much training did you do?
