Also in the battery life thread on XDA, it sounds incredibly promising. The one thing I was concerned about was the battery, as one of the very few good things about my Lumia 920 was the battery life, but from what owners are reporting, it sounds fairly comparable.

Fingers crossed Asda have them early and it turns up tomorrow! (Mega-long shot)
 
Well I've heard nothing from the Three store but i'll give them a ring tomorrow and hopefully it will be ready to collect after work...
 
Anyone know when the Xperia Z is actually being released? Vodafone are refusing to do me any sort of deal until it's been released >:U
 
aha, so when they say 'we need to wait until we have available stock' they mean 'we haven't got out fingers out of our arses yet' :D
 
Anybody who ordered through Asda heard anything? Over on XDA, no-one has heard anything, and the order status is "backlogged" and "awaiting stock". I never go to Asda for anything, and I'm starting to regret my decision...

I think Asda have been let down on stock (how the hell does that happen?!) so it looks like there will not be Xperia's for those ordered through asda tomorrow which sucks!

I need to ring Three up first thing and see whats happening with my pre-order and hopefully be told its in store waiting for me with the headphones! although i'm sure it could either way and somehow I've been forgotten!

Absolute joke that a major international company can have that happen if that's true.

Someone on XDA has been in touch 3 times and told 3 separate things: one that they a out of stock, another that they'll be delivered tomorrow, and a third that it'll be a couple of weeks.

If the latter, I'll be pretty angry. Doesn't help that I am totally fed up of my 920 and have been counting down the days and hours until I am rid of it!

Tested it today. It really is waterproof, but I don't know how long exactly for:

Don't like the feel of it. It is light, but not very grippy. Wasn't amazed by the camera as well.
 
I reckon the value of a pair of pre owned , never used headphones will plummet to £ 50 today, so I am keeping my pre order from Amazon at £ 499 with £ 50 of vouchers.

I have always used screen protectors on everything, but I wonder if this new Dragontail glass needs them ? Anyone any ideas ? I dont see protectors mentioned in any reviews and the matt cover I fitted to my nexus 7 ruined the colour and sharpness.

It's with O2.

I placed my pre order a couple of weeks ago and quickly got a text from them to say it was out of stock but they should have more in on the 28th. As time passed I was getting a little nervous that might mean I wouldn't get the bundled headphones, so I chased them up. Good thing I did as while I was talking to them their rep arranged for the phone to be despatched there and then.
 
Mines in store ready to collect but I'm not sure I'll be able to until much later on today, probably for the best considering I've got a lot to do today!
