fuming at my neighbour

The rules, as laid down by my local council. Forgive the poor grammar, they're not the brightest.

Below is a quick guide to how the service work:
  • Your bins must be ready for collection by 7am on the day of collections. If you do not know when your collection day is, you can call Stoke-on-Call on 01782 234000 or email [email protected] for more information.

  • Place your bins at the edge of your property or at the collection point so it's not in anyone's way.

  • Please don't put items in your bin that could be a health and safety hazard to our collectors and please wrap sharp objects securely.

  • Bin lids must be fully closed. Bins will not be emptied if they are over loaded or too heavy. Extra items will not be collected.

  • Please take your bin back onto your property on the same day as collection or you could be fined.

  • Please keep your collection calendar safe. This will remind you of your collection dates.

Look through rubbish and find out who it was, then go and empty it on their garden

When I was a student someone did this to us but filled our brown bin so we couldn't put any garden bramble, grass etc in it. We look through and found letters addressed to them and it was next door but one. We them emptied all the spiky bramble, grass, leaves etc all over their garden and door step (and posted them some)

It might be a "cool" thing to do, but the immaturity only comes to bite you in the ass.

whatever, we got no more stuff in our bins that wasn't ours - but it wasn't supposed to be 'cool' it was supposed to teach them a lesson. What they did bit them in the ass

Personally I believe the council is more at fault here. Putting red stickers on the bins is just plain stupid. Just don't pay your council tax ^_^

they probably didnt think it would be a problem. i dont think most do it deliberae but just think hes got his bin out, bin day ill just top his up so they atleast take it.

Think the council have some new system of putting these "tags" on wheelie bins saying they won't collect them.

Just leave a load of dynamite in the wheelie bin next time.
