Need a fairly priced but good reliable Courier to pick something up for me in Manchester. Can anybody recommend one that they have used before without issues.

Appreciate the help & Cheers for reading. :)

Or if anybody is passing or local to Manchester & heading too, past or through the LE10 area or close then I will happily pay 20 quid for your small diversion & would meet you somewhere convenient.
Doubtful but you never know. :)

By the way the Parcel to be picked up weighs a couple of kg I reckon & is the size of a pillow & I'll get the Dude to package it really well.

Once agaiin Cheers for reading & any help given.

@teenwolf, collectplus has a shop about ten mins walk from me but it's listed as a Texaco garage  Is that normal ?

yes that will be correct if its on the collectplus site.

just print the label off, stick it on and drop it off at that drop off point.
they will give you a printed receipt.

saves waiting in for a courier to collect.

What are you sending? I've seen a few threads on here by users that have sent various items, IE a monitor.

For then the monitor to be stolen by the delivery company, then the customer having no compensation, because their small print has a list of things they don't cover longer than your arm.

And is this the place I would collect a parcel I missed delivery of ?

no they would attempt delivery again.

you can also have a parcel delivered to a drop off point aswell if you were to be out at work etc etc. ( i think, would need to check)

Ok that's a shame but redelivery is cool. Thanks for the help/info. :)

Just use ParcelMonkey / Parcel2Go and select an appropriate company.

I ended up using Parcel2Go & clicked the City link option for a little over ten quid. Nice simple website & good emails letting me know what's what throughout. Delivered when they said it would in a soft box but with No damage & the box turned out to be bigger than I said as I only had the seller description to go by.
No probs at all & a sweet service I'll use again. Cheers for the Help.

I'll be using these again for anything over about 20 miles as it not only works out cheaper than doing it yourself you don't lose the time either.

Never had an issue with parcel2go.

Mostly booking TNT as there's a depot right at the end of the industrial estate in work, and they always work out cheapest (circa £8.99 for 24hrs).
