I ordered dead space 3 about 11:50 today off origin and i still havent got the game in my games tab. Went on the ea live chat.

One problem means I shouldn't buy any EA games? I've had zero problems on origin since I downloaded it.
 
Now you play the waiting game, happens with more than just origin though, i've never had a problem with them personally.
 
Used to take 4 to 8 hours for Warhammer Online time codes to appear from Origin, i wouldn't worry about it.
 
Origin has just been one screw up after another, successful digital distro is built on user trust and i have absolutely zero for origin, i own a number of games on it and i don't even have the thing installed anymore that's how much hassle its been, i don't want steam to own digital distro outright but i wont use origin again.
 
It's a bit rubbish if you have to wait up to 24 hours to receive your game, isn't one of the pros of online distribution that it's meant to be delivered instantly?

I once had to wait a few days to use something I bought off Steam, we better all stop using that then!

Nothing is flawless.
 
yeah I agree its stupid you need to wait, but no need to bash ea so much and tell everyone here not to buy any games from there just because of one little problem thats more than likely not even a problem, just delayed :P
 
Must admit, I nearly made a complete arse of myself by climbing into Ubisoft/Uplay for The Tyranny DLC not showing up on my AC3.
Turned out it was the site I bought the game off that are the problem. And still are, grrr.!

Its most likely the charge hadn't actually processed as such and what you were seeing was the autherisation for the full amount of the purchase. Sometimes transactions can take up to 24 if the card issuer doesn't provide verification quick enough. This would be for all online shopping not just digital downloads. So I'd be miffy at your bank rather than big bad EA :p
 
I've had to wait up to 2 days after launch to be able to install steam games.

You were very kindly asked to wait 24 hours for the game to turn up.

Grow a pair.
