Katherine Ryan is great, she's been on quite a few panel shows and things recently and never fails to make me laugh. Although the fact she's not British probably has a lot to do with that.

I've turned off many a show because she was on it. Absolutely dire.

I think a fairer statement is a lower percentage of female performers are funny in comparison to the the percentage of funny male performers.

There are funny women out there, just not very many of them.

Not a comic as such but if you can't laugh at Julia Louis-Dreyfus's performances then there is something wrong with you. Admittedly jokes written by blokes, but she is a superb comedy performer. I thought Veep was very good.
