Did anybody here buy an Archos GamePad?

Hi,

Now that the GamePad has been out a little while I wondered what peoples thoughts were on a portable emulation machine????
Also how native android games played??

I was contemplating buying one of these (purely for emulation) so would be interested as to what people thought.

From the reviews that are about its pretty poor. Bad screen, poor battery life, poor performance and cheaply made.

A second hand PSP is probably a lot better for that kind of thing to be honest.

There is a product coming out soon called the GCW Zero, funded by a kickstarter, it is designed to be a retro handheld emulator with scope for homebrew games to made on it.

Not out until May.
