gtx 460 / 470 or a 550ti sc

alongside a 3570k

Yes it will (maybe not with the power sucking GTX470).

Also may I ask why the other different GFX card? is that just for say a PhysX card or to drive additional monitors?

Neither , it'll be used in my pc for folding@home. some say it's a wast of money, i call it a hobby! just like those who spent £1000 on a titan :D , it's all hobbys!

ill be honest, i just googled decent power supply between £50 and £60 , more sites than just ocuk came up.

correct, it was quad rails, didnt see that, i cant link as it's not on ocuk, i am looking on ocuk but everything is £10 or more than anywere else?

if you find something on ocuk between £50 / 65 that'll power 2 gpus ill be happy go with it

ive gone upto 65 as the 700w bequiet 700w quad rail is £65

I run that PSU in one my rigs. Review of it HERE.

I went for it as I thought I may SLi my 1GB 460 at some point. In the review it got to 700W before it powered itself down gracefully. It's semi modular, the 24 pin and 4/8 pin are hardwired, everything else you add as needed. The fan is dead quiet and I'm more than happy with it.

Although I bought mine from here for £60ish but that was a way back. As it's now £80 I would look at something like this......

YOUR BASKET
1 x XFX Pro Series 750W XXX Edition Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £84.98
Total : £95.48 (includes shipping : £8.75).

Which is basically a rebadged Seasonic PSU, more power and it's still modular. Of course there are going to be other alternatives

Ah the L7 PSU.

P.S just for me, remove the prices please as that is price hinting at other places:)

You wont find much better than that 700W S6 here for that money.

I figure modular cabling is something you couldn't give a hoot about?

Ah well I have the Purepower L8 (I passed on the L7) which is modular and Bronze rated. You have linked the Systempower 700W which is Silver rated and isn't modular, so my experience doesn't mean that much to you lol

Thank you. Curse my tired eyes, the background is silver which is usually used to show the silver rating. It does say upto 87% efficiency reading closer, the L7/8 is Bronze and they state upto 88%.

I clicked to check the L8 as I own it, I must have clicked on the 700W that wasn't the SYS6 unit by mistake when I went back for another look
