Queen in hospital

first thought was....don't answer the phone! I wish her well, Gastric Bugs are horrible at any age.

I don't kiss no pinky ring but unless you'd bash an ordinary 86 year old woman, you have no business bashing this one.

Oh and it's because big Phil married in.

Why is she the queen and her husband not the king ?

Seriously, you have the nerve to post your location as 'Buckingham Palace' yet you don't know the answer to such a trivial question? The mind really does boggle at the sheer lack of knowledge displayed by the younger generations these days.

Why is everyone discussing the Queen here ?! the more important issue in that article is that massive 7ft 2" police officer guarding the hospital ! I mean holy crap 7ft 2" !!! we are being invaded by giants !!!!! and the Queen is obviously the source !

I fully understand all this. I had Gastroenteritis couple of weekends ago. Wiped me out big time. Horrible illness.

Get well soon your Majesty.

I deduce that the horse meat scandal must be worse in the kitchens at Buckingham Palace than anywhere else. Afterall, it's given the Queen an epic case of the trots it seems.

I hope she doesn't end up waiting on a hospital bed in a corridor without any medical attention for about 6 hours like that other 80y.old lady a few weeks ago.

join me in my prayers.

Nah. Observing that 2011 was because of the wedding and 2012 was because of the Jubilee, this year's extra bank holiday will be from the birth of the newly-wed's child. Due in June IIRC. Ok, date can't be 100% confirmed as a birth can be premature, but it could be fixed around a Christening date can't it?

2011 and 20132 both had nine bank holidays, but it looks like 2013 is back down to eight. To be fair though, that's one extra working day, which all else equal should in increase the economy by around 0.4%! Osborne not going to give that up in a hurry!
