Anyone tested the AX 760W Plat?

I have a Corsair 700GS currently, version before the 2013 model came out, and apparently it makes an awful noise due to the fan stop starting all the time to 'save energy', so it's time for a new PSU, now that Platinum certifieds are showing face here there and everywhere, has anyone had any experience with the AX 760W? Or can advise something similar.. I never intend to xf/sli, so I don't require anything over the 800W mark, but efficiency, temperature and noise are all high prioritys for me, thanks in advance.

Have you considered the Be Quiet range of PSUs given that noise and efficiency are priorities for you? A good choice might be the Be Quiet Pure Power L7 730W PSU

I'd be inclined to say too that this time around I'd search for something fully modular, I was originally looking at that very PSU before I bought my GS, the only reason I didn't opt for it is that I was going through a corsair matching phase, but again, I rushed into a build and didn't scope out for better options first, now I'm having to rebuy and am paying the price

I have seasonic 860w Platinum. It's a lovely piece of kit. Very silent and top quality.

I have the AX860. Rock solid so far and damn quiet. Can't hear the fan unless i put my ear against it...

Same as mine, my fan barely spins up unless it's needed.
