As far as I am aware you cannot march even a wanted criminal into a police station, caped crusader or not, or am I mistaken?

Surprised the police didn't bundle Batman and charge him with kidnap.

Awaits the "I was in fear for my life!" from the suspect.
 
Citizens arrest?

section 24A of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1974. A person "other than a constable" may arrest without a warrant anyone:

Who is in the act of committing an indictable offence; or whom the person has reasonable grounds to suspect is committing an indictable offence.
 
Id like to think he used the gruff bale voice and then as the officer at the desk turns round to call someone over he just disappears

I thought that you weren't allowed to touch someone when conducting a citizens arrest (pretty much making it completely useless)? I might be wrong, but I thought it would make you open to a counter allegation of assault.

Tis probably his mate in a costume accompanying him for a laugh... Or perhaps even his dad or something...

You can perform a citizens arrest and call the police etc... if someone is committing an offence but you can't just go rounding up people who have a warrant out for their arrest etc...
 
In life you should always be yourself no matter what anybody throws at you.... Unless you can be batman, then be batman.
